Welcome to the PE & T Homepage!

The Philadelphia Electrical and Technology Charter High School (PET) was established in 2002. We have grown from the new kid on the block to one of the most highly regarded high schools in Philadelphia. In 2004-2005, PET had its first graduating class and has grown to over 600 students.

PE & T Parent and Guardian Email Drive
We are making an attempt to gather as many parent and legal guardian email addresses as we can to help improve our communication with our student's families. To submit your email address, please fill out this form.

PE & T's Book Club to Meet Best Selling Author
Members of the PE & T's Book Club will be meeting writer Markus Zusak, author of the international best seller The Book Thief, on Monday, October 17 at a Teen Author lecture sponsored by the Parkway Central Library.

Charter renewal site visit
PE & T will be hosting a site visit for Charter Renewal on Monday, November 14th. Parents, Board of Trustees, teachers, students and leadership will be part of focus groups for the visitors.

PE & T Enrollment Modification
In order to give more students the opportunity to attend our school, on Tuesday, November 15th, PE & T will submit an application to increase our enrollment to 650 students next year, and 700 thereafter.

PE & T's action Team featured on cnn
PE&T's Action Team was part of a feature on CNN this summer for our painting and planting project with the Phillies last May. Also, this Saturday our Action Team will be heading up to Citi Field in NY, as 1 of 10 schools on the East Coast chosen to take part in a training session with the Phillies and the Mets players, and then will be staying for the game!
