Athletics
At PE &T, we take pride in our Athletic Program. In the 5 short years of our existence, we have built playoff caliber teams in both Boy's Basketball and Boy's Baseball, and have had All-Public honorees in all of our sports. And as our school continues to grow, so will our Athletic Program.

Athletic Mission
The purpose of this athletic department is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to participate in a school activity. Philadelphia Electrical & Technology Charter High School will participate competitively in all sports.
The athletic department must strive to promote growth in its student athletes, while emphasizing the spirit of mature competition and carrying out the mission of the Philadelphia Electrical & Technology Charter High School.
The athletic department must recognize that it is an extension of the high school, not independent of it.
All athletes must meet all academic and discipline requirements before participation is allowed in any sport.
This department, its coaches and student-athletes will represent this high school with self-respect and the determination to succeed in all aspects of the sport in which they compete.
All student-athletes must remember that it is a privilege that they must work to keep.
Athletic Policy
Each student is encouraged to participate in the athletic programs offered by our school. Before a student is allowed to participate, their academic and discipline records will be checked, and if they do not meet requirements, that student will either be placed on academic/discipline probation or not be permitted to participate.
Participation in sports will be prohibited if a student’s grade point average is less than 2.0 or C average. If a student has failed one subject but still has maintained a C average, that student will be placed on academic probation. In this case, the student will have to have a bi-weekly progress report signed by all of his/her teachers.
Every student athlete must maintain a conduct grade of a 70. If a student has a conduct grade between 70 and 74, that student will be placed on disciplinary probation.
