The purpose of this athletic department is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to participate in a school activity. Philadelphia Electrical & Technology Charter High School will participate competitively in all sports. The athletic department must strive to promote growth in its student athletes, while emphasizing the spirit of mature competition and carrying out the mission of the Philadelphia Electrical & Technology Charter High School. The athletic department must recognize that it is an extension of the high school, not independent of it. All athletes must meet all academic and discipline requirements before participation is allowed in any sport. This department, its coaches and student-athletes will represent this high school with self-respect and the determination to succeed in all aspects of the sport in which they compete.
