Our facility is housed in a historic, high-rise building located in the heart of Philadelphia’s Center City District one block from Philadelphia’s City Hall. Our building has been renovated to include classrooms, science and computer laboratories (both wired & wireless), a library, and gymnasium.
This location was carefully
chosen to make the school accessible to students
throughout
the city, creating a dynamic and diverse student population.
Computer Labs
PE & T now has a total of 5 computer labs, 3 wired & 2 wireless. Each lab consists of 28 pcs or laptops.
Library
Opened in January, 2006, the PE & T Library currently features:
* over 4500 books in a wide range of reading levels and interests
* Popular magazines, including GameInformer and ESPN
* Electronic access to research databases such as SIRS and EBSCO

GET CARDED!! As a member of the Pennsylvania Power Library Network, the PE & T library offers access to library collections and databases throughout the state. Students with public library cards can access these resources from home, as well as from the school's computers.

Gymnasium
To complete the development of well-rounded young men
and women, we have implemented a comprehensive health
and wellness program, including Health and Safety Education,
Physical Education, Drug and Alcohol Awareness, and Nutrition
curriculum and activities designed to make a positive,
life-long change in each of our students. Our students
now have access to fitness equipment which is housed in
our newly renovated gym.
